Our chapter offers three different membership levels to Accounting, Finance, and MIS Majors

Candidate

Dedicated students with a declared major can take the next step in their Beta Alpha Psi journey as Candidates, advancing toward full membership while becoming more engaged in the organization and its professional opportunities.

Associate

Freshman and sophomore students interested in getting involved with Beta Alpha Psi can join as Associates, providing an opportunity to begin their journey before becoming eligible for Candidate status.

Member

Accomplished students who completed the Candidate Requirements and achieved full membership status exemplify the highest standards of Beta Alpha Psi through dedication, professionalism, and excellence.

Payment

What are the requirements for candidates?

Accounting, MIS, and Finance majors are eligible for candidacy in our Beta Alpha Psi chapter if they have met the following requirements:

Declared a major in Accounting, Information Systems, or Finance
Sent their unofficial transcript to VP of Membership
Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (or a 3.25 in the last 30 semester hours) with GPA below this being evaluated
Have completed 30 hours of college credits
Have completed one upper-division course in their declared major with a B or higher
Completed the online application no later than the candidate application due date and send their unofficial transcript to VP of Membership
Paid the $125 in National and Chapter dues
Participated in a interview with an officer to assess fitness for Beta Alpha Psi
Attended 9 Professional Meeting
Participated in 5 Hours of Fundraising
Completed 8 Hours of Community Service

What are the requirements for Associates?

Accounting, MIS, and Finance majors are eligible to be associates of our Beta Alpha Psi chapter if they have met the following requirements:

Completed the online application no later than the associate application due date and send their unofficial transcript to VP of Membership
Sent their unofficial transcript to VP of Membership
Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (or a 3.25 in the last 30 semester hours) with GPA below this being evaluated
Paid the $50 in Chapter dues
Attended 5 Professional Meetings
Participated in 3 Hours of Fundraising
Completed 4 Hours of Community Service

What are the requirements for Members?

Accounting, MIS, and Finance majors can maintain good standing as members in our Beta Alpha Psi chapter if they have met the following requirements:

Completed the candidacy requirements in a previous semester
Sent their unofficial transcript to VP of Membership
Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (or a 3.25 in the last 30 semester hours) with GPA below this being evaluated
Paid the $50 in Chapter dues
Attend 5 Professional Meetings
Participated in 3 Hours of Fundraising
Completed 4 Hours of Community Service
